Shin Gojira!

"History shows again and again, How nature points up the folly of men."

Been awhile since I drew Godzilla, so I decided to draw the new design from the upcoming movie! Shin Gojira (Also titled Godzilla Resurgence) is going to be a darker Kaiju movie that takes the King of the Monsters back to his roots. The new design is divisive to say the least, but I for one like it. I don't love it, in fact I hope Godzilla heals throughout the movie until he looks more like his usual self, but I think it looks pretty cool. I took some liberties with the design (giving it beefier arms and the lower torso is guesswork) but I think I did a pretty good job of capturing the scarred look of Japan's violent enraged radioactive nemesis.
